![]() ![]() ![]() I spent the first half of the novel thinking it was basically just Night of the Living Dead with interdimensional pig-mutants instead of zombies, but the second half of the book has more in common with 2001: A Space Odyssey. It’s about a strange man who lives in an old house in Ireland that seems to exist on the border of different dimensions. This was a very enjoyable piece of weird fiction. I’ve been meaning to read William Hope Hodgson’s The House on the Borderland for a couple of years, and when I found a free audiobook version last Sunday, I decided the time was right.
